Insurance
We are “independent dentists” and have recently gone out-of-network with all dental insurance. We did this so we can provide the best care of our patients without the restrictions the contracts dental insurance companies were placing on us. We are part of your health care team, and we will not compromise your care to comply with the rules of a third party.
To be “member dentists” or “in-network” providers for an insurance plan, we would have to agree to cost cutting practices and other restrictions that may compromise our values and possibly your dental health. We want to help you be healthier now and in the future by providing less invasive restorations along with ongoing proactive preventative care.
Our approach is to explain the various treatment options to you, and help you weigh which treatment will best fit your needs. Together, we will make a plan on how to proceed to achieve your goals. Calculating how to maximize insurance payouts or what your plan will cover is not part of our process. We can offer care that dentists confined by contracts are restricted from providing.
Filing dental insurance claims
We understand that dealing with your dental health insurance company can be a hassle and filling out your claim can often be inconvenient. As a courtesy, we’ll fill out your claim on your behalf!
There are such a wide variety of dental plans, we will do our best to verify your insurance before your appointment. If you have any changes in insurance, please let us know well in advance so we can verify your coverage and provide an estimate for any out of pocket costs.
Financing
We do offer Lending Point third party financing if you want flexible financing options.
